The Smell Of Your Urine Tells A Lot About Your Health!

Urine smell is a very important indicator of health. There are many substances that affect  your urine smell, and they can tell you a lot from the smell and if everything is okay. Urine should not have a strong smell, but if it reminds you of ammonia, you may have a urinary infection, a kidney stone, or you are simply dehydrated.

Unfortunately, many health problems and changes cause a strong aroma of the urine – menopause, sexually transmitted diseases, impaired metabolism, and so on. Also, such a scent develops from foods with many proteins.

Urinary disease with maple syrup – This genetic disorder can cause your urine to smell too sweet.

Nutrition – Usually asparagus causes the smell of cabbage or eggs (sulfur). The smell caused by asparagus disappears for a day or two.

Diabetes – It is characterized by a sweet smell, or in a worse case, fungal. In the past, some doctors diagnosed diabetes by drying the urine and seeing whether it would attract bugs.

If you are healthy your urine should be composed of 95% water and have a weak aroma. If you feel a strong and unpleasant smell, even if you do not have any pain, then it’s a smart idea to go to a doctor. However, it is better to prevent it than to cure it.
